Highlights of the agenda for the regular MCC meeting next Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m at Seton Medical Center Coastside, Marine Boulevard & Etheldore, Moss Beach.
The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Regular Agenda Items:
5. Regular Agenda – The Council may take action on the following items:
a. Confirmation of the ad hoc committee: MCC GGNRA RCdT Neighbors– Kehoe (8:00) (15 minutes) Committee will continue to work with community members and GGNRA Representatives on Trail Head locations, Fire & Safety issues and Dog Management issues.
Desired Outcome: Approve the ad hoc committee to pursue its stated objectives and deliverables (see GGNRA RCdT Committee Statement) then disbanded upon completion.
b. Confirmation of the ad hoc committee: MCC Website – Erickson (8:15) (15 minutes) Address issues involving the current website and establish a project to replace the current website with one based on a standard template from Wordpress.
Desired Outcome: Approve the ad hoc committee to pursue its stated objectives and deliverables (see Website Committee Statement) then disbanded upon completion.
c. Devil’s Slide Task Force Meeting March 7 – Erickson (8:30) (30 minutes)
i. Review community involvement concerning the Devil’s Slide Task Force.
Desired Outcome: Choose 2 councilmembers to attend DS Task Force meeting.
ii. Review Devil’s Slide Crossing information
Desired Outcome: Decide whether to re-affirm concern about the crossing and have further discussion with additional information at a future meeting.
d. Hwy 1 Safety & Mobility Study - Kehoe (9:00) (15 minutes) – Finalize details for the community meeting (i.e. podium, opening remarks, speaker slips).
Desired Outcome: Council confirmation on the open issues (listed above) for this meeting.
Directions: (Take Highway 1 to Marine Boulevard and follow hospital signs uphill)
MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy.
